This is probably the most excited I've been for a regular season game in quite a while...here's what we've got:
The firechickens have won 10 straight
There's free vodka samples
Biz-Nasty is in the house (I'm hoping they give him a microphone)
Bode Wilde's first home game of the season
There's free vodka samples
A Flint home game not on a weekday
Ending their 10-game winning streak
There's free vodka samples
Hopefully it's a big crowd tonight!!!!

I think Saginaw wins the Divide Cup with a win tonight as well. HUGE weekend...

Other than being cold out, weather should be good and ticket sales are going strong. I think the ol' Dow Event Center will be rocking tonight, most likely with a playoff-type atmosphere. A lot of people are coming from Flint. Would love to see these two teams match up in the playoffs as it would do great for both clubs' ticket sales. As for giving Biz-Nasty a mic, I'm guessing that won't happen. But I wouldn't be surprised if he's a guest with Charley at some point during the broadcast. I have to agree with you about being excited about tonight. I'm also excited that there are two games this weekend. Seems like it's been forever since that happened. Oh, and TECHNICALLY this game is on a weekday, but it's Friday so I'll give it to you ;-) |

Joey has been trolling Flint pretty good this week. I’m excited that wife gets free vodka for Valentines Day. Hope it doesn’t go into overtime.

Tough 5-4 loss tonight. I thought Saginaw controlled probably 80-85% of the game (and that 3rd period...goodness), but the Firebirds got some bounces and took advantage of their opportunities. Fun crowd, too. Maybe some new line combos going forward? Maybe I'm out of the loop, but I noticed Suzuki and Perfetti were mostly separated in the 3rd.

Gotta defend better. Giving up 4 goals on 23 shots (not counting empty netter) ain’t gonna win you many hockey games.
