Spirit win 8-2. Now that's more like it. The Spirit looked much better tonight and were able to cash in on their chances. It was a total team effort. I thought that maybe the Rangers might get a little angry and try starting some funny business, but they played clean most of the game. Except, did anyone else see Noel try to kick Coskey at the end of the first period. It happened as play was stopped for a rangers penalty. Noel went to penalty box, so I thought the refs saw it too, but the guy already in the penalty box goat an unsportsman like conduct penalty so Noel went back to the bench.

Arguably the best overall performance of the season to date. Nice bounce back from the previous night’s disappointing result. On the road for 3 games next weekend at Barrie, Sudbury, and North Bay.

Six straight games coming up against Eastern Conference teams. Time to go on a run.

I think the 3rd period of the Flint game might be a turning point in terms of getting the team to play at a higher level.
