Made the long trek to Sudbury and about halfway through I was starting to get worried I wouldn't see that wolf thing fly across the ice that everyone talks about. So much for that thought. I can't really blame Frappier on about half of those goals because he was getting hung out to dry. The second Sudbury goal looked like a high stick from my vantage point, but I figured there wasn't going to be enough video evidence to overturn it.
Byfield sprained his wrist a couple weeks ago...not sure if it's the same injury or not. He spent a lot of time taking pictures with kids during the intermissions. Seems like a good guy.
Local kid Damien Giroux gets the game's top star. Hats off to him...he picked the team up when things were caving in.

Both Giroux goals restored 2 goal leads. The defense has got to get better. 6 goals allowed in both games on this road trip so far. That ain’t gonna cut it come playoff time.

Not trying to take away from North Bay's win over the 67s, but Ottawa seems to be struggling right now. Needed overtime to beat the Greyhounds last night, and also lost back-to-back games against London and Windsor earlier this week I think. Can't overlook the Battalion, though. They're on a bit of a roll as of late.
