Surprising how quiet everyone is about the talent on the Spirit. They are playing cohesively and they all appear to know how to read the ice. Andrew Oke was stunning in goal last night against the Firebirds!

I think we're going to see a lot of inconsistency with this team due to their age, but the improvement I've seen since opening night to Wednesday night has been amazing. That being said, Laz was NOT happy with their play on the postgame show Wednesday night, so apparently they can do much better, which might be scary for the other teams.
That being said, it is completely impossible to judge how we actually are right now because we've only seen two teams at this point, and those two teams have only seen two teams. We don't know where we stand against the rest of the OHL until we start playing them next week.
I do think there is a ton of great talent here, and this will be a fun team to watch grow. It's going to be fun to watch this year, as they have a lot of energy and fight in them. But do expect some glaring mistakes, because they will happen as these guys learn.
I also agree about Oke. He stood on his head against Flint. I liked seeing him in preseason too. Definitely has a lot of talent.
