Trade with Barrie

Saginaw traded Bode Stewart to the Barrie Colts for a 2nd round pick and a 3rd round pick. I'd imagine those picks are in play for other deals to improve the team for next year.

Stewart never really got any traction with the Spirit in his 1 year with the team. This could be another Ethan Cardwell situation where the traded player flourishes on his new team.

Spirit also sent a 4th and 5th rounder to Kitchener for a 2nd round pick. Spirit had an interesting picks trade with Kitchener before the draft too.

So when combining the two trades, it looks like this. Basically gained a fourth round pick and moved a 2nd rounder back a few years to help load up this year's team.

Saginaw receives:
-2nd round pick (2027)
-4th round pick (2025)
-4th round pick (2026)
-5th round pick (2023)

Kitchener receives:
-2nd round pick (2023)
-4th round pick (2025)
-5th round pick (2026)
