Big congrats to Joey Willis on getting drafted in the 4th round (111th overall) by Nashville today.
Also of note, Martin Misiak was drafted by Chicago in the 2nd round (55th overall). The Spirit drafted him in the import draft last summer and he spent this past season with Youngstown (USHL). He turns 19 this fall.
No other players on the current roster were drafted. Have to think Oke and McNamara will get a camp invite at least.

Flint had 4 players drafted. Tristan Bertucci, Coulson Pitre, Nathan Day, and Ethan Hay. That’s the most they have had drafted in a single draft since moving to Flint.

I noticed Flint took the GM duties away from their coach and they are now separate roles. I still think Flint shoulda just sold Lombardi and a few others at the deadline. That could have set them up for a big run in 2025.
I'm a bit surprised someone didn't take Oke in the late rounds. Day slipped a little bit further than I thought he would.
Hopefully Chicago will send us Misiak this fall.

Three Spirit players have been invited to prospects camps.
Dean Loukas is going to the Red Wings prospects camp. Luke McNamara to the Rangers camp Roberto Mancini to the Senators camp.

Suprised Oke and Smith haven't been invited to a prospect camp...maybe Smith is too old for a prospect camp but I would expect him to get invited to a team's main camp as a free-agent invite. Oke was invited last year to the prospect camp for the Wings and they obviously liked him enough to get an invite to the main camp...I wouldn't expect him to go back to the wings since they drafted Trey Augustine in the 2nd round (one year younger than Oke) but I would think that another team would invite him.
