No they didn't. I'll say the same thing I said back then — most of those losses were one-goal losses. I personally had no doubt they'd turn it around. The hockey they were playing was evident that the outcome didn't tell the full story. I had zero concerns, and stated that on multiple occasions.

I thought this past weekend was a big statement by the team. Rallied against a tough Brantford team in a hostile environment, blew out a solid Owen Sound team, and then beat a rested Guelph team while we are playing our third in three nights. Heck of a weekend.
I do hate to get ahead of myself but I don't think the Soo will catch us for the division title. I think it would take a big meltdown on our part for that to happen. Catching London is certainly doable and I think we have a pretty favorable schedule. Either way, assuming the top four teams in the West win in the first round, would you rather play the Soo or Kitchener in Round 2?
Saginaw: at FLNT, vs. KGN, vs. GUE, at GUE, at ERIE, at SAR, vs. WSR, at SSM
London: at GUE, vs. SAR, vs. KIT, at ERIE, vs. SSM, at WSR, vs. WSR, vs. GUE

Definitely would rather play Kitchener and that's not slighting them in any way. We've had a much harder time solving Schenkel and I'd much rather take our chances with Kitchener and then let London and Soo beat up each other for a (hopefully) 7-game series and then face them after that. All 4 top teams in the west are really good and there's no magic pill that's going to get you through to a title. At the beginning of the season I thought we may have a pretty easy path to the finals but it certainly hasn't worked out that way...all 4 are solid and have good goaltending...will definitely be fun to watch!
