Yzerman announced his retirement yesterday. It will sure be different not seeing #19 on the ice for the Wings but it was time. Now it's time for the NHL to waive that 5 year waiting period just like they did for Gretzky and put Yzerman in the Hall of Fame pronto. I wonder when during next season the Wings will retire #19?? Hopefully it will happen sooner rather than later. Best wishes Steve, you will be missed but not forgotten.
