Red Wings lost their home opener 3-1. Hasek looked pretty shaky, especially on Vancouver's 3rd goal. The crowd had no energy and as usual, lot's of empty seats. I'll take OHL hockey any day of the week.

I watched the Pittsburgh game (they beat Philly 4-0) for the most part, only bits & pieces of the Wings - I love the Wings, but it was exciting watching Chris Thorburn being announced at the beginning of the game (for Pittsburgh) & was even more fun watching him play a regular shift. Good game!
10 games tonight (NHL Center Ice RULES!) - man, am I rusty! I should have had some sort of "training camp" to build up my stamina for all these games! haha! I did get a nice hour-long nap right before the games, so it looks like I'll make it through all 10!
Only 5 games tomorrow, starting with Geoff Platt & the Columbus Blue Jackets at 7pm!
