After a very lackluster 2-1 defeat to the Petes on Thursday night, Windsor and Flint come to town tonight and Sunday afternoon. Paid attendance on Thursday was 2,468 but there couldn’t have been more than 1,500 people actually in the building. Tonight Windsor will be without their #1 pick Ethan Belchetz who will be playing for a gold medal in Sarnia at the U17 tournament.

I would think that Coach Lazary had something to say to the boys after that game and in practice yesterday. I think we'll see a much better effort tonight.

Tonight's game sure was a lot better than Thursday night. It might have been their best game of the season. Coach Lazary seems to have way to get through to the players and get them to play up to their potential after playing a dud of a game like Thursday night.

Agreed Ricardo... That was a really great game...high level in all phases.
I don't know if I've ever seen someone penalize themselves like I think Greentree did last night... Put himself in the box and his teammates had to tell him to come out... That was hilarious

Best home game of the season so far last night. Now can it continue today to get a winning streak started?

Good bounce back games after laying a stinker against the Petes. Great to see Najim get his first. Like the way he plays. He's going to have a letter on his chest down the road. Saginaw and Flint seem like they want to kill each other after 1 game. Wednesday could be ugly. Protect Misa at all costs.

I also like the way Najim plays...he is getting a decent amount of icetime as well and he seems to hold his own out there which is pretty good for a 6th round pick in his 16yo season.
Nice couple of wins on the weekend...always good to beat Flint and an effort win over Windsor. Nice to see Oke playing some good hockey as well...was getting a little concerned for a while but he had a nice weekend between the pipes.

Kid has beefed up quite a bit and seems to be able to handle himself pretty well. And man his ability to make something out of nothing is truly special. I don't fear Flint's physicality like I do the Soo or London. Flint has their own issues to figure out right now. Speaking of London, I swear the Boultons have had more suspension minutes than played minutes during their OHL careers.
