With the rough stuff that went on against Flint, it will be nice to have former Firebird Ethan Hay back in the lineup. He returns tomorrow from his 5-game suspension. Flint will be looking for some revenge but it would be nice to see the Spirit come out and impose their talent/will against them and get a good road victory. Then we've got a game against 4th place Erie and then a decent Sarnia team...the West is still pretty bunched up at this point in the season so if we want to be in the playoffs and have home ice, we need to keep winning. London's won 9 straight and my guess is that streak could go on for a while.

In case anyone is keeping track, through a quarter of the season, Misa is on pace for EIGHTY THREE GOALS!!! Here's a good article with a lot of familiar names who have huge goal seasons in the OHL:

Nice to see the boys come back from 2 goal deficits twice in the game at Flint but the slow starts need to end. Lazary talked about losing board battles during the radio pre-game show. That has been an issue all season so far. Hopefully that gets fixed as well.

Another slow start finally catches up to the Spirit. Played from behind all night, finally tied it up 5-5 and then your goaltender can’t make a save when it matters. Erie wins it 7-5 with an empty net goal with 1 second left. Better see Papineau in net tomorrow or I’m not sure what to say.

Every single game that has a margin more than 3 turns into garbage hockey. Goon it up. Scrums after EVERY. SINGLE. WHISTLE. Laz has to tell these guys to check their ego at the door. Let it go and just go back to the bench. No one cares about you being tough anymore. It’s just about the scoreboard. Sarnia just about dragged us down when the game should have never been close. Let the opponent throw a fit. Just skate away.
