Now that the Perani's have bought the IMA, do you think they will seek an OHL team?
Granted, the OHL has alredy talked with the old owner (Doc what's his name) and were not interested due to the condition of the IMA, Perani will have to make some major improvements. I think the IMA would make a great OHL arena and fire up an old rivaly.

OHHH god i hope not. Those fans came into our arena wheater it was ihl or uhl and acted like they owned the place. those people were/are hard to get along with. I've spoke to some london and plymouth fans but the flint people are unapproachable. Too much bad blood between flint and saginaw fans. remember this is a family atmosphere and with them around that will change.

I really don't see the OHL coming to Flint. The Perani Centre is a dump and the Generals seem to be doing all right.
I wouldn't mind seeing a competitive Saginaw-Flint rivalry again, though.

www.danburytrashers.com/(Scroll down a bit to see the news about the Gens-Trashers trade...)It's offical, Duhart's back in Flint. This is a smart move by the Generals. While the Gens' defense has been surprisingly strong this year, their goal-scoring has been inconsistent. Jim Duhart gives the offense a much-needed boost. GO BLUE!
