At the rate UHL teams are likely to be signing locked out NHL players, fans will get to watch "NHL Hockey" for reasonable prices........what a way for the fans to get a perk!!!!

They are one of the six teams that make up the new IHL (formerly known as the UHL)... Same crappy league, different name...

Keep in mind that this is NOT the "real" IHL, or the same IHL you may remember from the 70's, 80's or 90's. It is the proverbial 'wolf in sheeps clothing'! It is the CoHL/UHL. They just are making a mockery of a historic league name that they just decided that they could just take over. Granted, I believe the story goes that one of the owners actually owned the rights to the 'IHL' name & even the trophies or something, and so they are trying to trick people into believing that this is the IHL that we remember, and that it's actually entertaining hockey. It is as low a rung as you can get on the "pro" level, just about. Anyway, no need to worry about it much longer anyway, since Flint is averaging like 800 fans per game (I have heard), they won't have hockey next year more than likely.
