Port Huron is getting a new hockey team for next season. Old-time IHL fans will recognize the nickname of the new team: Port Huron Flags.
The team will be run as a not-for-profit business. The Flags will be run by Citizens First Bank, McMorran Authority and the City of Port Huron. Any profits made will be rolled back into the McMorran Authority to off-set any debts.
