My favorite was Marcel Como when the Gears were around but Jeff Pyle was my favorite overall.

SGF, Stuey was awesome! He worked for my dad in the off season and always took time to throw the baseball with me or even try skateboarding with me.
I give honorable mention to:
Brian Noonan: I just remember seeing him scoring all the time Darren Pang: How can you not like the Panger? Eddie Belfour: Only because he's the biggest success story to come out of Saginaw and he still has a business and home here. and of course Dave westner and Dennis Derosier.

I always liked Vic Posa from the Hawks days. I remember meeting him at the mall & thinking he was like some huge famous hockey player & I was so in awe. He was so cool - he just sat & talked to me & my friends for what seemed to be forever. Belfour was there that day & talked with us for quite a while, too. But Vic was the coolest. I remember him coming up & sitting with us one game when he was injured - he saw us & remembered us from the mall & came & said hi & sat with us for a while. Cool guy. He still works here in Saginaw!

I wonder just how many former Saginaw hockey players have remaind in the area. We know that Derosier, Westner, Holmes and J.M. Nicole still reside in the area. I have heard that Mel Hewitt stayed around and now Vic Posa. Any one else know of any other players that stayed around town?

Yeah, my brother. ;DBut he only played in his own arena....the dining room with his table top set-up. And the music.....What ever happened to that record?

Isn't that the killer dude from Friday the 13th? Just kidding. I'm really to young to remember that hockey equipment. I've seen lots of pictures though.
