I bored so i thought I would check out what some of the former players were up too. When I went to the Port Huron website I had noticed that they had Lees on the injured reserve. Just wondering if anybody knew what had happened to him?

I am not sure, but he has been on IR almost the whole season.

just thought i'd let everyone know that nick has mono. that's why he's been out for so long. i got this info from the port huron front office

Great name by the way, but that's too bad. That's the thing that hurt a hockey player. Losing weight and being off of skates takes it toll.

Lees suffered a concussion in his second or third game with the Port Huron Beacons, went home to Peterborough and while recovering from the concussion came down with mono. I believe he is due back any day. Unbeleavable he played in the O for 5 years never injurred and or sick, now this, tough luck Nick.   |

The chances he was not hurt or sick in the OHL are slim to none. He just played through it unlike most.
