Ok, i'm taking suggestions here on what I should ask to get for my birthday from my parents. I was going to have them buy me a new suit but i've nixed that. You guys (and gals) probably all have something cool that i don't have (and don't know that i want) so i'm looking for that blockbuster idea to request. Let's keep the ideas to, say, under $300. Ok, my birthday's in a week, get crackin' ;D ;D ;D

Judging by the response to your request...how about a subscription to The WGAS channel?

ok, the bday is done and gone and with no suggestions from the peanut gallery, I was forced to let it be "a surprise". I was pleasantly surprised with a Garmin portable GPS which should come in handy plenty of times.
By the way, the "a life" comment was tremendous, the fact that this thread has been up for almost 4 days and that's all you could come up with for comedic interjection....sad.
Let's see what was a funnier response, a blow up doll or a life...hmmmm....you do the math.

It was not intended to be funny, it was an idea. Thats what you wanted right?

It was not intended to be funny, it was an idea. Thats what you wanted right? I've ALWAYS wanted that, but alas, i'll never get it.

I hope you had a good one! How old are you now? I do think it's time to start wearing socks. Your look is so 80s. :-)

A friend of mine has an iPhone. They're pretty cool. I don't know how used to that on-screen keyboard I could get though. Apple needs to allow 3rd party programs (which they will soon) and then the iPhone will be much more practical.
