Boy, if that were true, we sure better not be getting rid of anything substantial! Says on the Noof someone suggested McDonough & Fletcher for the 2, I would not take that deal. Why would we give up the future that we have building for to try & go for it in the present. I know we are now expected to win the division, and we could, but if we start dismantling the team for a couple band-aids (OA's), it seems to go against what we have been doing here. Yes, success THIS YEAR would be great, but success for the next few years would be better.

For Saginaw the obvious player to be involved in any possible trade would be Sobocyznski. He was scratched so much here that when he got sick they just sent him home. He is a high pick (second round) that got less playing time than guys drafted below him. He has "potential" so Windsor may want him. Maybe Saginaw has to throw in a draft choice.
Windsor gives up OA's that they can't keep. They have 6 by my count. Three must be dealt. I'm sure there is some kind of insurance clause that says if the OA's involved end up going to the AHL then Saginaw will get something else.

If the trade is already a "done deal", it can not be announced until June 1st.

Well, June 1st is here in 2 hours so we'll probably hear shortly if any of this is true or not.
