Single game tickets go on sale on the Loons website www.loons.com beginning March 1st. www.ourmidland.com/site/news.cfm?newsid=17849340&BRD=2289&PAG=461&dept_id=472542&rfi=6Scott Litle will be watching his computer closely the morning of March 1. It's likely to be getting a whole lot of hits. That's when about 1,000 lawn tickets go on sale for the Great Lakes Loons' April 13 home opener against the Lansing Lugnuts at Dow Diamond. "I'll be tracking those pretty closely," said Litle, the Loons' assistant general manager of ticket sales. On Tuesday, the team announced that all individual game tickets for Loons' home games will go on sale March 1 on the website www.loons.com. Lawn tickets also will be available for the April 14 home game, and both box seats and lawn tickets will be on sale for the rest of the home games. Starting March 5, tickets also can be purchased at either of the Loon Loft stores -- at 215 East Main Street in Midland and at the Fashion Square Mall in Saginaw, or by calling (989) 837-2255.

Lawn only kind of stinks. Oh well, might be fun anyway - cold, but fun. I am really looking forward to the upcoming season, however I am NOT looking forward to the end of hockey season. In MLB, pitchers & catchers reported today! Is it just me or does winter seem to be getting shorter?

Lawn seats are a lot of fun. I've seen many games on the lawn at Oldsmobile Park in Lansing. Especially if you have kids.

Home opener sold out quick - before I got tix. Bummer, but I got lawn for the 2nd game. Considering driving to South Bend for the season opener - I have friends down there anyway.
