Anyone going to the home opener? My daughter has a high school soccer game that day so I won't be there. I think I'll wait until it gets warmer.

I really wanted to go, but missed out on getting opening day tickets. If anyone has friends that have 2 extra let me know. I will buy them or trade them for a couple of Spirit tickets next season.

It looks like they have some top notch prospects on the Loons.
This will be like old days of the IHL Gears and later the Generals/Hawks, when we could see guys play here on their way to the NHL. I can't remember how many guys played for the Gears in the 70's that eventually made it to the show.
I went down to Joe Louis Arena when it first opened to see the Red Wings play the LA Kings with Mario Lessard in goal.

Ricardo,
You are correct in your assumption. I have been attending Lugnut games for 11 seasons and there have been 40+ major leaguers that I have seen where the Lugnut.
The Loons will be very good. They are going to make a serious run at the MWL title depending on what happens personell wise with promotions and such.
