Loons Win Again

The Loons may not want to come back home to Dow Diamond as they win another road game tonight. Kershaw picks up the win in a 1-0 shutout over The Swing of the Quad Cities. And some of us thought Great Lakes Loons was a bad team name. That makes it 7 wins in the last 9 games after that horrendous 8 game losing streak.

If you think the Swing name is bad, you should see their uniforms. It is a burnt orange, almost brown color with baby blue numerals. They're a Cardinal affiliate though, so there is a lot of talent that comes through that team.
