With Dominic Hasek retiring from the Red Wings as one of the all-time best goalies in the NHL, I thought I'd toss out this question. Who was the best goalie to ever play in Saginaw? This include the Gears IHL days, the Generals/Hawks in the IHL, and the various teams in the UHL, along with the Spirit. Here'sa few of my favorite:
Of course, there's Ed Belfour, but what about Darren Pang, Bob Froese, Doug Keans, Mario Lessard, Mike Palmateer for just a few.

My all time favorite was Mario Lessard. Keans, Froese, Palmateer & Belfour were also awesome here. Lorne Molleken was decent the short time he was here, Rick Knickle was good, Ray Leblanc had a pretty good record while here, & for the quality of hockey, Steve Vezina, Mike Lenarduzzi, Marc Delorme & Jason Carey were decent here.
