In other news tonight---first line brawl of the season--Brampton and Sudbury. And the OHL site is down, so no further news, except that all players were involved, including the goalies. I LOVE LINE BRAWLS. ;D

Me, too, acin!! I've never forgiven myself for missing the one that Mike Brown got into back in the day.

Viewing the games on computer. Only w/ Canadian teams of course, but that's everybody but Erie and Plymouth. $$$$ involved, of course.
And Combs takes a penalty...........

So much for that...Combs gets a penalty so now we'll have 3 on 3.

Godfrey scores...anyone surprised?
Hounds win 5-4 in OT. At least we get a point.
Seriously, are we afraid to cover Godfrey or something?

OK. I'm going to be reasonable here. That's a big point on the road, against a team that had reason to want to blow us out (their near-collapse in the third last week). If you had told me in we'd lose in OT I'd take it. Disappointing to lose, but the Hounds' experience was the difference, I felt, especially w/ special teams. Altho we pretty much took back what we gave up there, also. Soo announcer just said Daniels was screened on last shot and had no chance. Big props to Asselin for those first two goals getting us back in the game--that's why he wears the C.

Agree. A little disappointing to lose, but I think we sent a message tonight that we can compete with the top teams in the league. Godfrey is seriously a Spirit killer.
Anyways looking forward to tomorrow night...wonder if the Bus will get the start in net.

With both a capital and a small s on the "spirit"
Encouraging also that our best players really stepped up tonight.
Wow--they gave Asselin the first star!!! Except that he calls him Tom Asselin......Cam also likes Muravich and Combs.

Oh Wow. Get ready--here it comes. London blew a 3-0 lead and lost to Windsor 5-3 tonight. The Sarnia fans' angst is going to be nothing compared to this.................

I didn't catch the game tonight until the end when the radio guys were recapping it. They said how good Asselin was (obviously) but they also raved about Tyler Murovich The OHL gamesheet is stuck in the second period so...
Did any of you watch on line or go to the soo? How good was Murovich? Anyone else impress you?

Don't know what Cam said on the radio, but the whole team played very good hockey tonight. Nothing to be ashamed of, losing in OT to a team that was 3-0 and playing their home opener before a sellout crowd. Yes, Pat Asselin had an outstanding game, but he wasn't the only one. The boys worked hard and never gave up. They were behind 2-0, 3-2, 4-3 and still came back. A hard, but well-deserved point.
