Who are some of the non Spirit OHLers past or present that you looked forward to coming to visiting Saginaw so you could watch them play.

good one there, i wish there was video floating around out there of his fights with Dix...they resembled the Bosse v. Mirasty of recent LNAH fame. I will agree with McCarty in saying Jeff Carter was one of my faves to watch...i enjoyed watching how smooth a skater he was and how he was always in the right position on the ice. |

Steven Stamkos
Patrick Kane/Sam Gagner (I always think of them together)
Bobby Ryan
Nikoforov (sp?)--the little guy, great skater, that finished his OHL career w/ Sarnia this year.
Bryan Little and John Tavares--although we didn't/don't see much of them
Andrej Sekera--His last year in the league, he and McNeill were head and shoulders above everyone else.

Marco Caprara- that was a good one. I think everyone but Mike Pain enjoyed him coming to town.
Bobby Ryan- Hated seeing him come to town when we could of taken him and passed.
Stamkos- the way he played at the Dow this year was a treat.

I preferred Nate Kiser v. Peter Flache myself. Although Caprera was impressive as well.

I preferred Nate Kiser v. Peter Flache myself. was that the away game fight that lasted well over a minute? If it is, it was one of the first games i listened to on the radio and was in awe of the broadcast...really wished I could have viewed that in person! |

for me the highlight was watching stamkos. man what a player, and i cannot wait to watch him play for years in the nhl. same goes for kane.
