Ive noticed that within the last year or so there has been a few players headed across the pond to continue their careers...
Patrick Asselin- Hern EV (Germany) Mike Brown- Schwenninger Wild Wings (Germany) Peter Flache- Adler Mannheim (Germany) Ryan McDonough- EC Red Bull Salzburg (Austria) Geoff Platt- Tampereen Ilves (Finland)
Not to mention players that have returned home...
Michal Birner- Lahti Pelicans (Finland) Marek Kvapil- HC Vitkovice (Czech) Vaclav Meidl- HC Znojemští Orli (Czech) Georgi Misharin- CSKA Moscow (Russia) Denis Yachmenev- Traktor Chelyabinsk (Russia)

Platt didnt last long in Finland... He is now signed and has played a game for HC Dynamo Minsk of the KHL (formerly Russian Super League)

It was announced on the Dayton Bombers website on 10-20-2008 that Mike Brown had left the team and signed with a team in Germany... Which team is now the question...
Geoff Platt has returned to Tampereen Ilves (Finland).

He didnt exactly go home (Czech Republic) but Michal Birner has left the continent and is now playing in Finland for Lahti Pelicans...
