Hopefully the Spirit have more then one coach behind the bench. I also hope Edwards is no where near the bench or the goalies. Kisil is not even in town?  ? The majority of ohl teams have a full paid staff and Edwards seems to be trying to get by cheap these days.... |

Even though DE has the skills to be a good goalie coach, he does not have the time, or more precisely he should not have the time to be the coach if he effectively is doing his GM job. I know he was only on the ice 3-4 times last year with the goalies.

Looks like they rehired the goalie coach they had a couple years ago.

Re-hiring him was the best thing they could do this season. The goalies missed out on some precious development last year because they had no one coaching them. Pasquale will definitely benefit from this and hopefully improve this season.

They re-hired Randy Wilson? Is this right?
Must have been a pretty exhaustive search. But that's good for him.

Hey newguy, why don't you go ask Ryan Daniels how devastated he was when Randy Wilson wasn't asked back to be the goalie coach last year?
Randy is a good goalie coach, and has been previously mentioned, he will definitely help the development of our goalies.

I said it was a good hire, simply that they didn't have to look to hard to find him. Daniels had a good supporter in Randy, and Randy was overruled when Daniels was foolishly benched in the playoffs for Marc-Andre Perron. The team's fate was sealed right then and there, in my mind. The team wasn't scoring for him in the Soo. Check the records.
So I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not. Was he devasted? Or was he far from devastated? It's a murky post to figure out.

Can you point out to me where you said it was a good hire? You post indicates you think it was another short-sighted decision by Edwards (sarcastically saying "Must have been a pretty exhaustive search" knowing Randy already had a relationship with the organization). C'mon man. Don't insult my intelligence.
