In case anyone is interested, the Prospects Tournament from Traverse City, MI is going to be on the NHL Network next week. From what I understand the games will be on at night 9/17 and 9/18. I am sure will be replayed later as well.
Prospects from the Dead Wings, Thrashers, Blue Shirts, and I think Carolina is the 4th team will be on hand. A plethora of current and former OHL players will be showcased.
Just an FYI in case anyone is interested. It is channel 218 for those that have digital cable.

NHL Network is channel 403 on Dish Network. I know it's part of their HD and Top 250 packages.

There will actually be 8 teams attending that tournament this year..

The Detroit Red Wings will host their 2008 prospects tournament and training camp at Center Ice Arena in Traverse City, Mich.
The eight-team prospects tournament, which is scheduled for Sept. 13 to 17, will feature entries from the Atlanta Thrashers, Columbus Blue Jackets, Dallas Stars, Minnesota Wild, New York Rangers, St. Louis Blues, Detroit Red Wings and Tampa Bay Lightning. The full schedule has not been determined.
Tickets are $5 per day and can be purchased at the door on game day.
Training camp will begin Sept. 20 and 21 with morning practices. Tickets for these practices are sold out. The gold-medal game will be held Sept. 22 and the red-and-white game concludes camp on Sept. 23 at 6 p.m. Only standing room only tickets remain for both the red-and-white game and the gold-medal game.

I hadn't looked for a while - now I am excited! Wings vs. Chicago from the '92 Division Finals on right now. Cool. Man, I am not going to get much work done the rest of the day today... |

We have attended the NHL Prospects Tourney in Traverse City every year since it started (about 6-7 years ago, I think). It is the best $5 you can spend, hockeywise. Able to see at least 2 full games each day and, if you want to jump back and forth between rinks, see the better parts of 4 games. If it hasn't already been posted above, rosters are shown on Red Wings Central website. Many familiar OHL names.
Only gonna be able to attend on Tuesday this year because of Spirit games in St. Kitts and Woodstock over the weekend. THERE ARE NO GAMES BEING PLAYED ON MONDAY IN T.C. Tournament concludes on Wednesday.
