I heard today from a executive on the Spirit, That old Spirit Head Coach Moe Mantha is suing the OHL over the problems he had in Windsor a few seasons ago. Specifically, the incident involving Downey and Aleu.

Oh Boy!! If this is true it's going to get really ugly before it's over.

I would expect Windsor to counter-sue in that case for Mantha not fulfilling his contract obligations and having to trade guys as consideration for the incident. I don't know how Canadian courts work but in America, this would most likely be settled behind closed doors or will be tossed out by a judge. There wasn't any wrongful termination in his canning.

How can you say there was no wrongful termination? How do you know that? Do you know what was in his contract or any other agreements he may have had with Windsor's ownership or management?

i really don't know at all...there was admitted hazing that went on that he knew about and turned a blind eye. I doubt that the contract addresses it specifically but it sounds like a good reason to fire someone if you ask me.
FYI I don't want to debate this because i really don't care about it
