Partisan views aside, i'm sitting here watching the debate and i'm wondering if Palin's continual comments about hockey and hockey-moms will draw more attention to a sport that desperately needs it.
Personally, I think that whether you like her or not, she is mentioning a sport that many in the contiguous 48 don't hear much about (since it's absent on espn programming). Hopefully, she'll generate a little interest and people may check out some hockey in their local area or on TV!

I doubt it too. However, I would like to show her my deer hunting blind. :-) Any women that can gut a deer is alright in my book. lol

I believe she can field dress a moose, which is a step or two up  Actually, I don't know if people are going to run out and check out the first hockey game they can find, however, people are sheep, and the more she talks about it, the more SNL will make fun of her about it, the more the media will talk about it and maybe it will peek some intrest to some sheep, I mean people out there. |
