GG tries to make the case that it is the model other teams are doing and mentioned financials. It's mostly financial in my opinion. The models they mention, Belleville and Guelph are located in the area in which most players are drafted from. It's much easier for those GM to drive what a max 2 hours to see kids play. It could cost Watson 2 hours just to get over the bridge into Canada. At this point in the season who are you going to get to be GM anyway. Far from an ideal situation (as always with this team) but something had to be done (isn't Change the buzzword these days?) so must be a net positive. |

This is one of the best moves the Spirit have made sinse I have been following them. Even though we just threw all the credibility out the window that has been built up, this was a move that had to be made. By the way, how can you build credibility with a so called GM like this moron we had.
