Any ideas who is going to be the captains for the season? I am sure Jack will be wearing the C, but who wears the A's?

Who has worn the "C" and the "A's" in the games so far?? With Combs back I would guess he will get the "C".

Chappell has been acting as captain for ceramonial faceoffs. In the London game, when Chappell was in the penalty box, I noticed Underwood would be the player talking to the officials... |

The only reason that Jack might not wear a C and Chappell an A is that no one under 19 wore one last year. Watson might be looking ahead to someone who will be returning, at least for the A's.
I can't imagine Murovich doesn't wear a letter.

I'll try it again.
There are very obvious FACTUAL reasons why he won't. I'm glad he's turned things around from where they were 24 months ago, and wish him the best. But he's not a captain that a lot of the Spirit fanbase, you know, "families" could possibly get behind.

newguy if you are using that reasoning than r mcd shouldn't have been capt last year either but he was so apparently the spirit like many of the rest of us have realized these guys have grown up.

If Jack wants out, he shouldn't be the captain. How can the players look to him for leadership when he is going to jump ship later in the year?
I predicted it would be Breen - obviously I was wrong. With what we have now, I think it should be Murovich. A's should go to Szwarz and Brodie.

I wouldn't be surprised if everyone speculating is wrong about the A's exactly why I suggested Fillman...he's a sleeper pick. If i'm right, everyone on here buys me an icy cold bud light at various times during the season. If i'm wrong, i'll buy my own. In other news, has anyone else noticed how nice it is outside? I don't normally get excited about foilage but dang, the trees look incredible. In related news, don't expect many people at the game tonight, with HS football and the weather, i'd guess under 2000 actual attendance and announced somewhere around the 2800-3000 range. |
