Really not much of a move...no disrespect to Adam.
He was an intern 3 years ago. Then a video coach. Now he'll shuffle some papers. But they do need bodies to help them out.
I really really do hope this isn't the long-term plan. I like Watson, but his qualifications, especially to do both jobs full-time are questionable. Nowhere near Mancini's experience and winning at the college level. I mean, you can't compare the two.
As for Dan Haliburton....umm..is it fair to ask who he has pictures of? Is that ok? I guess, there'd be more knocking a guy who clearly can't claim with the exception of one of seven drafts (McNeill/Pyatt/Asselin group) that he hit one out of the park.
Is he taking credit for the winners and of the many losers, like Fletcher/Ferguson/Borges, etc, he says "it wasn't my idea" - it's a valid question. But this team's failures certainly aren't being helped by their drafts. With the exception of the 3 guys I mentioned, can you make a case for any other draft pick (not counting Euro draft picks) being an IMPACT player for Saginaw?
