Does anyone know if the Spirit plan on doing the blood drive promotion again this year? If so, when? I am an avid blood donor and would like to show my support for the team by doing it at their promotion if they have one.
Also, when does the food drive start? Anybody??

I feel like Batman seeing the bat signal from Mr. Don Johnson....call (or type) and I shall come (maybe =  Yup, we're doing a blood drive on Nov 1st and another in the winter... We are back with the same great promotion - a free 'give blood play hockey' shirt, 2 ticket vouchers and a signed pic from two of the guys on the team! plus, we'll have the game airing live in the garden room. The food drive was a flagship event of our former radio partner Joe FM, so with the change of radio partners to FM Talk and Sports 100.5 we aren't doing a food drive on a such a large scale like in the past (a 5 game promotion). HOWEVER, since it is for such a great cause and is a fan favorite...we will be doing a 'one game' food drive on Dec 19. We are still working out some details, but will probably do an enter to win promotion for anyone that donates....more details to follow. Thanks! Bill |
