There was mention made in one of the articles about Biss getting into a bar fight. Was anyone aware of this?? Obviously not the kind of thing to be doing to build your standing in the community.

hes human folks. if someone starts something with you in a bar, its hard sometimes to just walk away. hes a big kid. people are gonna try and test him. especially if they are drunk and know he plays hockey.

Make no mistake, I really like Biss as both a player and a person, but part of making it is knowing when to walk away, because there is ALWAYS somebody that wants to take you on if you're an athlete. From Paul's comments, to his credit, he is in no way defending his actions. Here's hoping he goes to a team that will give him a good chance.

I don't believe I used the word "easy". And I didn't even say "always walk away". (Although "very nearly always" would be close) Re-read what I said.

i never said you did say easy. so maybe your the one who needs to read more clearly. also you said "part of making it is knowing when to walk away". all i said was that its not always that easy to just walk away. seems to me your trying to make an arguement out of nothing. let it go. the only reason i even responded to this thread was because i knew paul pretty good when he was in town and i know the type of guy he is.
