Has anyone tried the IQ test ad at the top of the page...i get headachs trying to figure it out...sheese =

Anywho, sorry for the delay in getting back on here, but I wanted to hop on and set up a quick meet and greet....

per an earlier thread, there have been some concerns about SaginawSpirit.com and as or right now nothing has been set-up...

However, I still want to meet with fans if possible to come up with a win-win solution...and also give a little 'sneak peak' into the future of not just SaginawSpirit.com, but the future of the entire network that...if everything goes to plan...will be as sweet if not sweeter than some of what the NHL sites do!

If people are cool with it, maybe a meeting Monday, December 1st at 6:00 PM? We could do it at the Spirit office in Saginaw and I could order some pizza/pop for food...

I would like to limit the number of people right now, to ensure that everyone can voice their thoughts/ideas...please avoid rsvp'ing guests that aren't interested in seriously contributing on web stuff...

Maybe the first dozen people to post on this thread that they are interested? no need to give your real name on the thread if you wish to keep you identity secret, I just need to know that you are coming...although you would look goofy showing up with a bag over your head! ha!

If demand soars through the roof and pending how the first one goes, we can explore having more brainstorming sessions down the road...

Look forward to getting togeather with everyone...and to getting free pizza!

Just a suggestion about the site--- if you have a section for video highlights why can't this be updated after every game. Every game is taped so why is the most recent from week 6.

I really enjoy the video clips but they should be updated after every game.

Overall it looks like a terrific site.

The OHL has a new look as well but there is no link to each team since they upgraded.

The brainstorming session sounds like a good idea. My gripe with the site is that there is an awful lot of "coming soon" pages. I understand that it may be difficult to upgrade often, but some of the stuff on there has not been updated in a long time. I also do not really like the way the game calendar is set up, it is hard to read, IMHO.

I would love to brainstorm with you all, if only to steal a little of your brain power But alas, I have a previous engagement that evening that features a Prime rib buffet (though I really love pizza, especially Jets). I will however e-mail you (bill) a list of things I have issues about (web site related of course).

Bill, hope you are checking the forum because I would like to hear the outcome of your meeting with the fans about the website.

Hi, I went and we discussed plans by the ohl to modernize all of their web sites and the spirit are adding newer features like a better online scoreboard and enhancements to the site .
They are trying to get more video to play online and posible podcast of the radio show . I gave my ideas about putting refreshes on old homepages and how to re-direct to new home page . They are making some changes to the site now in order to make it flow better and more pleasing to the eye and easier to use , fixing the calendar so it will be more readable . They have worked on the behind the sceens equipment also with new lighting planned and more cameras I''ll post more when I remember
