Well, trying to watch the game on Insinc, but the feed does not work. Only getting still photos.
Anyway, beginning 2nd period, Spirit and Wolves tied 1-1. Fillman with his first career goal for Saginaw; Lusnak responded on PP.
Interesting line combos tonight, with Fillman playing on 1st line. Evidently Todd is not happy with how some folks are playing, and he is letting them know it tonight.

Evidently Todd is not happy with how some folks are playing, and he is letting them know it tonight. Exactly what Rosie commented about early in the 1st period on the radio broadcast. Sounds like Sudbury goaltender Andrew Loverock is holding the Wolves in the game right now.

OT underway. It's 3 skaters apiece as Szwarz for Saginaw and Lusnak for Sudbury each got minor penalties at the end of the 3rd period.

Good job by the Spirit. Loverock looked like he was never going to let another one in, even though we outshot the Wolves 2-1. Then a miscue in their zone on the PP by the Wolves was jumped on by Chappell, who got it to Joe P for the goal. And after last week's shootout, tonight had to be a walk in the park for Pasquale!!! A win the Spirit had to have, because Sudbury was decimated with injuries, including their 3 top Dmen. It's asking a lot to finish the weekend with a win at Barrie, but these guys just might do it.

Would be nice to see the Spirit bounce back from their poor showing against Barrie a few weeks ago at home. It's already been a good road trip so let's hope they can finish it off with at least a point if not 2.

johnt.....Looking forward to your take on the game. Have a safe trip to Barrie and back home to Saginaw. Even though the Spirit outshot the Wolves almost 2-1, Sudbury was in the game thru its entirety (obviously, since it went to a shoot-out). Loverock played fantastic and kept them in the game. Eddie made some key saves, especially one in the 3rd period that was almost identical to the save that he made in the 1st period in Owen Sound a couple of nights ago-snapped out his glove on a high shot to his left side. Skellett and Brodie both made good moves to score their shoot-out goals. Todd split up Brodie and Crawford on "D" in the latter stages of the game. Both those guys must be getting dogged tired after their 3rd game in 3 nights, plus all the extra travel they've had going from Saginaw to Owen Sound on Wednesday morning, down to Guelph after the OSD game, up to Sudbury today, and down to Barrie after tonight's game.
