The Spirit recently released Tom Craig, putting him on waivers. No one in the league picked up the 18-year-old center, leaving him a free agent in search of a home. ''Tommy just didn't meet expectations,'' Saginaw General Manager Don Edwards said. (FROM M-LIVE)
What do you think of this move. I thought Craig was a decent player from what I have seen of him.

I'm fine with the move. Nice kid, but he's been around here a while and to me it doesn't seem like he's improved his game very much. I've kept waiting for him to break out, but it's not happening. At this point the coaching staff probably just wants to use his ice time to develop the younger talent.

GM just putting his stamp on the team. Getting rid of Tom allows for the GM to add his guys like Pletkitus.
I hope this means that Allicock is now going to get a bigger opportunity as well. I like this kid.
