No, you remember those two guys that used to run around the Dow with balloons? They would get on the mic and start chants like "Lets go Spirit" I think they were masked and had capes. They kind of looked like Super Man, albeit a chubby Super Man. (I mean no disrespect by that as I am over-weight myself) :-)

Yea, those guys, I haven't seen them either. Also, I've been late quite a few times this year, but I don't recall seeing the laser light show.

Superfans are gone (don't know why) and the light show still happens before the games along with the cartoon opener on the big screens.
I don't really miss the superfans but I could sure use some new dancing girls!!! (no guys this time please)

there was no light show Friday night and I was there just as the Zamboni's came out. Oh, I'm not talking about the on-ice stuff, I was referring to the one in the rafters. Did they move that machine to do the one on the ice?

i wasn't there friday but the games when i've been early they do the one in the rafters that goes back and forth quickly and then the flash the green spirit logos and other designs on the ice. Perhaps the machine wasn't working.
