Hockey needs to add Kicking the Puck to the rules

I put this in just for fun but i'm actually serious about it...why doesn't hockey allow kicking the puck in the net??? Now that they've added "directing the puck" without a "kicking motion" why not just remove all the gray area and allow kicking it in? Personally, I would love to see the athletic ability of some of these guys who are completely tied up by a defenseman but still give the extra effort to try to kick one in.

What do the rest of you think about this?
