could he be the next fletcher for the team? If suspensions are any indication, then the answer is YES!! He received a 2 game suspension for something that occurred in the Mississauga St. Mike's game according to OHL Media Notes. Can anyone comment on what exactly happened?? www.ontariohockeyleague.com/media_notes/

Exactly, second fight in the same stoppage. The suspension is automatic. Not really news as anyone who looked at the line sheet could tell. That said, it really should not have been. The ref blew the call. The first fight should not have been ruled a fight. The ref missed the calls on the penalties also. Oh well, I guess we should all expect that from the fine group of refs the league has.

correct bpfox...the penalties should have been called:
Brodie - 2min Roughing Billingsly - 4min Roughing and 10-minute Misconduct
Allicock - 5 for Fighting (good band) Gaunce - 5 for Fighting
That would have still given the same 2min PP that we got and would have avoided suspensions

Kain Allicock Fight Compilation OHLTG video contributor/writer Aaron Ford has come out with a killer fight compilation. Saginaw Spirit rookie forward Kain Allicock has gone with a who’s-who of tough guys this season and Ford has grabbed the best ones in this great compilation. Grab a Pepsi, sit back, and enjoy some solid OHL fights… www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3UdEnCcOik

The OHL Rule Book, Rule 56(f), sez that a player involved in a *fight* following an original *altercation* shall be assessed a Game Misconduct penalty (reviewable by the league for possible further dicipline). An altercation is defined as " . . . a situation involving two players, with at least one being penalized". The original altercation need not necessarily be a fight or major penalty. Could be 2 minute roughing penalties , delay of game, or whatever else.
(Corrected wording) Not trying to be picky here, but Kain could also have been given a Game Misconduct if the players involved in the original altercation were only assessed minor penalties.

Who did he one-punch in the last fight on that video? Cool video. I was wondering the same thing?? On another note, do the Spirit still have a game remaining with Missy St. Mikes?? If so, maybe Kain will give Neuber a go. I saw a U-Tube clip from earlier this season where Neuber schooled our old friend Scott Fletcher. I'll post it if I can find it. EDIT: Here is the clip I was talking about. www.youtube.com/watch?v=bR2mKTKJtSA&feature=related
