taking a look at the roster, I see some former OHLers there too - Sebastian Dahm in goal and Nick Tuzzolino on defense (probalby others, but those names jump out at me as playing in the "O" since Saginaw has been around), and college guys Jason Ryznar (U OF M) at left wing, and Ryan Turek (Moo U) on defense.

Combs was just traded from Alaska to the Trenton Devils. Man, this guy is getting some good travel miles in... Saginaw to Alaska to Trenton... wow! haha!
Also, Chris Chappel was sent down to Charlotte of the ECHL from Hartford (AHL). Transaction page on the ECHL website just says that he was reassigned to Charlotte by the NY Rangers. No reason or anything.
