Oshawa wins Game 1 over Erie by a 4-1 count and has a 1-0 lead in the OHL Final. While it was just a one-goal game going into the 3rd period it sounded like the Gens controlled the play for most part.
Game 2 is Saturday night at 7:05.

4 unanswered goals in the final 7:45 of regulation gives Oshawa a 5-1 victory in Game 2 and a 2-0 lead in the series. Connor McDavid was held scoreless in a game for the first time since March 11.
Game 3 is Monday night in Erie at 7:35.

Oshawa was VERY busy this year with trades and it looks like it's paying off. Let's hope Jimmy and Greg can do the same thing when we gear up for the 16-17 season!
Wonder if Erie is wishing they had pulled the trigger on Jake Paterson?

My Charter cable TV guide does not show game 3 being televised by NHL Network. Has anyone heard anything to the contrary?

Erie holds off Oshawa to win Game 3, 4-3. Oshawa leads the series 2-1; Game 4 is Wednesday night in Erie at 7:35.
I was not able to view it last night and all I see for tomorrow is the usual NHL Tonight: Playoff Edition or whatever it's called. For Friday (when Game 5 would be) I see something called "NHL Special" from 7-10. Not sure what that might entail.

4-1 Oshawa early in the 2nd. Still a lot of game left, but they're smelling blood now. Williams just got pulled from the Otter net.

The Oshawa Generals are the 2015 OHL Champions with a 6-2 victory in Game 5, and they win the series 4 games to 1.. They'll now head to the Memorial Cup. I believe all four teams for the Memorial Cup have been decided now.
Oshawa is also the first Eastern Conference team to win the OHL title since 2006. I think Peterborough won it that year.

Erie should have picked up Paterson at the deadline.

Connor McDavid won the OHL Playoff MVP award in a losing effort as well... then apparently ditched the trophy in the hallway outside the locker room following the ceremonies.

I can see a player whose team just lost a championship not wanting to bring a personal trophy into a room of teammates ..the kid has feelings/smarts......
