-17 Smite points? Is that the record? ;D I think i'm the leading active poster. Donzz...most of the "stuff" you missed before you joined was all one guy under like 5 or 6 different names (midlandpucks, "Bill", etc). I believe he was the main reason DiscoStu doesn't come on here. Speaking of posters who aren't active anymore...JimDrw...i'm sure you're a lurker on here still, pop in and say hello once in a while, you're the only person i've met on this board...remember that bus trip a few years back, hahaha, man was I overserved at that bar at the rink ;D ;D

Wow, I guess there was quite a history here before my entrance. After reading some of it, I'm glad I wasn't here then. Sorry to post off topic, I'm still learning :-) I'm not sure you are posting "off topic", after all we are talking about Fic's approval rating so why not group him in with a few of us who carry a "negative" rating. After all, the majority seem to want to give him a negative rating anyway. I know most of my negative rating comes from comments like the one about the letters on the back of the jersey spelling out the player's name. I do that kind of stuff just for fun but some react in a negative way to it. I try to do it in such a way as to say "hey folks, it's just a game, enjoy it", but there are some who just don't see it that way. I can live with that. Peace.

Just for the record, BPfox, I did not give you a smite point for the letters on the jersey comment.

Just for the record, BPfox, I did not give you a smite point for the letters on the jersey comment. Better watch out DJ, I'm catching you. To prove you can make stats say what you want them to say, I believe I am the current poster with the highest smite total when you compare it as an average of total posts. -15 rating on only 103 posts, not bad, not bad at all. Peace. PS- eric I understand your need to smite me for that post, but let's be honest, it was funny. I am willing to bet that you at least cracked a smile.

i just got you another one...my wife isn't happy that i'm the least liked person here. She thinks I should start saying all nice things and commenting about puppys and world peace.
ok, this "percentage of total posts" you speak of...weren't you on here, left, and then back again? If that is true, did your posts reset?

Yes they did. But I also lost all of my smite points as well. Actually, I think that whole "I'm out of here, no wait, I'm back" deal has most likely caused some to either; A just not like me, or B just not get me, or C just not care. I also think this board had at times become too much of a "love fest" and some folks just don't like controversy. What ever it is, it does not bother me and it shouldn't bother your wife either. The way I look at it, to make this board worth something you just have to push the envelope once in a while. It's easy to sit back and not rock the boat, but it takes talent to rock the boat once in a while without getting personal. In my circle of friends, my sense of humor is something that is valued. The problem is, it does not alway translate well to the written word. No problem, at least all of my smite points are earned. I wear them as a badge of honor and so should you. Peace.
Holy thread robber Batman, who's this Ficcorelli guy? ;D

Holy thread robber Batman, who's this Ficcorelli guy? ;D ok, this is my last thread robbing post...we're going to have to have another Fic post to get back to bashing him ;D just so you know, i think it's hilarious that my wife is bothered by my smite rating. I think the whole thing is goofy. If I was bothered by what people said about me on message boards, i'd be a very depressed person. I have fun on here while at the same time, offering a (hopefully educated) opinion. Like i've said before, the humor that I bring to this board may not be the best but it makes me chuckle and that's all that matters ;D ok, back to our regularly scheduled Fic conversation. (note: FYI, this would be a PROPER time to smite someone...when they continue to i69.photobucket.com/albums/i60/munchkin_2/Beat_Dead_HorseSanitysBlog.jpg)

I don't know if anybody has seen it yet but as you're traveling west on State St. through the city there's a big new billboard with a giant picture of the Ficster with a 97.3 logo saying the "Hall of Fame Voice" is now on JoeFM....for the haters out there, it doesn't sound like he's going anywhere soon...now that he's in Giant Form in the sky

There is one in Bay City also--on the left as you're going west on Layfayette.
