the trade or the pick?
According to my source (which is probably skewed towards the positive) this guy is better than that Taylor kid we just got so, if true, it should be a decent trade since IMO, the Taylor kid does a nice job.

Doesn't make much sense to me either! Another forward, we still have Forwards not being utilized and some that have been brought up to fill in here and there. I would like to see the potential of some we already have.

He must be better than what they have or they would not have gotten him. Somebody will have to sit...Pachis, Kain?

Are you guys talking about Kain Allicock, or have be picked up somebody named Kain? (Which could have happened.....) Can't see Pachis sitting a whole lot more than he does. He was a first round pick, although you are correct that his development has been tepid compared to Swartz right from the get-go. And of course, there is the matter that he wasn't Watson's first round pick (meaning Watson wasn't with us then) Could be it's someone he doesn't see fitting into the plans. Whatever--he's played so little this season, that it's pretty tough to judge what his strong and weak points might be.

neither of those guys have really seen the ice much...i'm just guessing based on the type of player Watson seems to like and at the current time, Allicock seems to fit that mold a little better. I see a lot of Gorgeous Borges in Pachis but I hope he proves me wrong and I end up seeing Tommy Pyatt in him in a year or two.

I think I agree w/ that assessment--Allicock being a Watson type--but I'll hold off awhile on the Pachis thing. He wouldn't be the first 16 year old to struggle his first season and pick it up as he matures. He wouldn't be the first to go the other way either.

And I think it fair to say Allicock brought some excitement to the place in at least one of his shifts tonight........
