Please, dear God, Rosey - please grab the mike from fic!
Ficorelli just called an Erie player "Robin Septic" - three times!
I look on the gamesheet on the OHL site and the kid's name is Sertic.
Good lord, please get the mike out of this man's hands!

End of the 1st period...Saginaw 1, Erie 0
Shots are 13-12 for Erie
Powerplays: Erie 0/1, Saginaw 1/3
I wonder how the attendance is tonight...I saw on the news that the Flint Generals are playing in front of their first sellout crowd in years with Darren McCarty in the lineup.

Midway through the 2nd period...sounds like we've dominated territorially but it's still 1-0 Saginaw.

2-1 Saginaw with 13 minutes left in the 3rd. Ryan McDonough scored to make it 2-0 Spirit 22 seconds into the 3rd period, but Josh Sidwell scored less than 2 minutes later to cut the lead in half.

The first Spirit goal was switched to T.J. Brodie, which is his first ever OHL goal.
Ryan McDonough scores a powerplay goal to make it 3-1!

Please, dear God, Rosey - please grab the mike from fic! Ficorelli just called an Erie player "Robin Septic" - three times! I look on the gamesheet on the OHL site and the kid's name is Sertic. Good lord, please get the mike out of this man's hands! While I too hear him refer to Sertic as "Septic"... and he still calls Kain Allicock "Allicott"... but a mispronunciation of a name does not bother me too much. I thought tonight's game was one of Fic's best called gemes yet! I enjoyed the broadcast. One thing to note, he sounded MUCH clearer on my radio (with minimal 'low end') than he does on the internet. You can hear the excitement in his voice now, too. And Rosey is a great color man! At one point when Fic wanted a breather, he says "Dennis..." waiting for Rosey to take over & 'chat' for a second, instead Rosey pauses a few seconds & responds with "Yeah, Fic?"! haha! I just thought that was kinda funny. I wonder how Rosey would be at actually calling a game. He is nice to listen to.

He is nice to listen to. i think rosey would do great. i had a good convo withhim the other day and it is so great to see him doing well. what else can you expect from a guy like him? he was tough as nails back in the day and he is tough as nails now. on a last note, i respect the fact that you are trying to give fic a real good chance, but cmon now. his voice is not getting better, its getting worse. i thought he just talked that way when calling games. my god, after the game he was talking to rosey in the same monotone voice. im sorry this guy has got to go.

I was sitting there minding my own business in the Blue Line today when I overheard a conversation randomly...three guys were talking about Fic's call and were saying that it was horrible. One man was saying his wife turned in and couldn't take it. I was shocked because it's a big topic on this forum and I randomly ease dropped into a conversation and this is what it was about!

Agree SGF...I honestly thought this was Fic's best game he called. I thought he sounded a lot clearer and the excitement in his voice was very evident.
