When a team is in need of a rebound game after a poor performance, it sure is nice to get the last place team in the league to come into their arena. Let's hope that the Spirit don't take them lightly and come out firing on all cylinders.
On another subject, there was a rumor going around the arena last night that Disco Stu would be showing up as a Superhero. "Disco Man"..faster than Ponch or John on their CHiP motorcycles...more powerful than Dirk Diggler's abdominal muscles...and able to leap tall afros in a single bound! He's Super..He's a Fan...He's DISCO MAN! (This could work!) Maybe he can save the day for the Spirit and guarantee 2 pts! ;D

Too many beers?
Seriously, though, my antics even ended up on ABC12 last night. Ugh. I hate it when a game is so boring that they have to put me up on the big screen more than once.

All the kids need to remember to avoid this:
January 5th Erie 6 Kitchener 3

Stu, I think you've taken over for that gal that used to sit in section 12 upper. She would do that thing with her hair and they would put her on the big screen all the time.

Both teams are coming off losses in their last outings. Saginaw lost at home to Plymouth 4-2 on Wednesday night. Erie lost at Windsor 5-2 Thursday night. Hopefully the Spirit don't have a poor 1st period like they had against Plymouth and London.

Speaking of her...i don't know her but she recently got engaged to a guy she met at the games...they announced it over the PA towards the beginning of the season. Pretty cool news but I always thought she was like 12 years old...just young looking I guess.

If David Jarram is in the lineup tonight, I expect him to go to try to win over the fans. If he does go, it will be with either Liambas or Gadzic since they are the heavy's for Erie. My guess would be Liambas because he's a defenseman and Jarram may throw a body his way on a forecheck.
Prediction: Spirit 4-2 (and I won't be cheering for the 7th goal anymore either for known reasons)

I could have sworn I saw that girl at a game over Christmas break... I haven't seen her in a while. I always thought she went out with that guy she sat by. I can't remember his name but he has blonde hair and always wears his Spirit Jersey. (that ought to narrow it down) ;D

SO, back to the game, anybody hear if Jarram is in the lineup tonight? Might make it more interesting, despite what the majority is saying on the NOOF.
I'm looking forward to the game tonight, making my return to section 17. I'm not used to sitting on the odd side of the arena, tickets over there are harder to get in the center on gameday.
Will we start Daniels tonight? Based on what people reported from Wednesday's game, the loss to Plymouth wasn't his fault.
Hopefully the boys come out fighting tonight, these slow starts have become too much of a habit lately.
Go Spirit!

Judging from the broadcast I can't really fault Daniels for the loss on Wednesday. One of the goals was a fluke deflection off a Spirit d-man and it sounded like we left him out to dry on a couple of the other goals.

According to Spirit Beat Reporter Mark C., two of Plymouth's goals were knocked in by Spirit players.
Anyway, as long as it's a good game tonight, I won't be disappointed. So far I've witnessed some pretty good ones this year.
