Holy weird and wacky first period. Saginaw jumps out 1 to 0, the Soo scores twice, Saginaw ties it, Soo Scores, Saginaw scores 2 more times to take a 4 to 3 lead heading into the intermission. Sounds like J. McDonough took a pretty good boarding penalty as he got the gate for the rest of the night. Makes me wish I did make the 3 1/2 hour drive up there. Sounds like a slugfest!

WOW! I missed most of the 1st period with the ever popular "cleaning the garage" chore that my wife likes to toss at me... I came in JUSt after the 4th Saginaw goal & looked at the scoresheet & was pretty shocked. Not what I expected to see at all! So what was the word on the J. McD boarding call... did the Spirit announcers say it deserved the 5 & game? And I notice that Cuthbert 2 for instigating, 5 for fighting & a 10 - so did Jason not want to partake in the scrap or something? He didn't get a 5 for fighting.

Is their something about our team that screams out "let's see how we can screw them over on a video replay tonight" ?? Granted I have not had a chance to see this, but from everything that Fic and Rosie have said the mystery goal here was another one of our typical screw jobs.

Not the first time we got screwed on the road. I sure would like to see it as well.

OMG, I'm trying to watch the Wings-Sens, and every time I run to the kitchen to check the score, it's different--NATURALLY this is the game the bus trip got canceled!!! On that last video--I don't think there was a stoppage in play between the goal and the end of the period, which means they couldn't check the replay til then. Can't comment on the play itself, but it sound like the procedure was handled right...........

Good to see Daniels win in the Soo. This could be a first round matchup again.

Daniels has been playing outstanding, he should have gotten a star tonight. Zaborsky and Murovich has been playing great. Chappell and Combs are playing very good could be better. McD is a great player but needs to be more of a team player (pass the puck). All in all team seems to have a good synergy. This could easly be the team that battles thru the 2nd round of the playoffs. Just my 2 cents.

Finally--a non-moral vistory at the Soo! (A victory that wasn't moral?? Not sure how to say that so it doesn't sound somehow illegal)Agree about Daniels--the pucks were going in early, but he was terrific down the stretch, and how great must it be for him to shut those Soo fans up!!! (at least for tonight!!) Zaborsky must have been super-human tonight--Fic and Rosie were raving about him. Big road win. johnt, I know you were up there, and I cannot wait to read your assessment of the game. The next time The Spouse says we really have too much to do to go to the game(even though The Spouse is right....) I am going to drive to the Soo myself. Let's take it to Plymouth at their place Monday.
