Easily the best faceoff guy we've ever had...glad to see him finding success in the pro's. While I think Saad will be the first one to get his jersey retired or honored somehow by the Spirit, Trocheck isn't going to be far behind.

Ross has now been suspended indefinitely by the Blackhawks & Ice Hogs. All charges against Garrett have been dismissed and the Blackhawks have reinstated him. Sounds like a situation where the law enforcement folks and prosecutor were overly aggressive and didn't do their due diligence. Hope this doesn't hurt Garrett's hockey future. |

Lake Erie is one win away from the Calder Cup. Moutrey has only played in two playoff games but one of them was Game 2 of the finals on June 3.
If they go on to win, it will be 2 straight years that the Calder winning team has had a former Spirit captain on it. Paul Bissonnette won last year with Manchester.
Former Spirit draft pick and MSU alum Dustin Gazeley is playing for the other team (Hershey).
