Vince Trochek just scored a beauty against the Red Wings. Vince is making it tough for me to cheer for him. He regularly torches the Wings--has been first star twice that I know of when we've played the Panthers. |

Usually these are formalities to officially send them to the minors. I think that if one of these guys are picked up off waivers that it's a 1-way contract (meaning only NHL) so once they clear waivers they can be sent to AHL full time and there's probably some cash savings on their contracts. |

I hate to spend time discussing this one because I mostly do not care, but it seems like the prosecutor is widening the scope of the revenge porn law if what I read online are in fact the real details of this case.
Based upon the charges, you would think that what happened is that Ross dated a girl, they broke up, and then he ran to the internet and said "HULLO INTURNETZ. HERE IS MY EX NAKED FOR ALL OF YOUSE TO SEE. HA HA HA." This is not the case.
What appears to have happened is that Ross ended up in a text argument with a teammate's ex girlfriend where in the IM conversation he sent the video this girl made for his teammate back to her. For whatever reason. It sounds pretty stupid on Ross's part. He should have not engaged this person in any way in any sort of conversation. She may have felt threatened by Ross knowing about the video or perhaps he may have even threatened something, I don't know. But it is hard to see how this fits the definition of revenge, nor was the victim in a relationship with Ross in any sort of way, nor was the material sent out to the public for viewing. Hopefully Garret hasn't blown his hockey money on bullcrap and can get a good lawyer to pick this one apart.
