What's up lately with Ryan McDonough and all of the minor penalties?? He's in the box again.

Tempting fate again by starting the third on the PK. But I don't think we are playing that badly. So far that goal by Caria 47 seconds after Tront's is the death blow, and that was at even strength.

McDonough pulls the Spirit within 1 on the PP. It's 4-3 Hounds with about 10 minutes left in regulation time.

kit is now 9-1 over windsor...dang. I'm sure you meant Plymouth, not Windsor. Speaking of Windsor it looks like they are going to be down 2 games to none unless they have a big 3rd period comeback. Sarnia leads 3-0 after winning the 1st game 3-0 at Windsor. Guelph and London are tied 1 apiece.

It sounds like the Spirit faught hard right to the end. Hopefully tomorrow night will be a different outcome. I just read the Easter Bunny is going to be there tomorrow night, so you guys better behave yourselves. :-)

Where have I heard this before. Godfrey scores on the PP to make it 4-2 Soo. Godfrey actually wasn't much of a factor tonight from what I could tell, SSF, at least not like last year. He actually helped us by taking that dumb slashing penalty, negating a lengthy 5 on 3. Matt Caria and his line were the thorns in our side. (Caria had a 5 point game against us right after he came to the Soo, so he's clearly going after the coveted Spirit Killer title!) Could have been a lot worse--good and bad points both in this game. But even though the Spirit didn't play a great game, they were in it til the end, which I find encouraging--although not surprising!! Rosy alluded to a couple players who he felt were "floating"--twice--in his post game comments, and went out of his way to say they weren't rookies. I'd be interested to hear from someone who attended the game--hello johnt!! --on your take on that. Game 1 in the books. A lot of rookies got their first taste of the playoffs. So let's go get 'em at the Dow tomorrow night!

Rosie just commented that he felt there were a couple of vets that he did not feel gave a good effort tonight. He did not mention any names so I'm just curious who he might have been referring to?? Can anyone who was at the game or watched it on Insync Livestream comment?? EDIT: You beat me to it sf8
